Our Lady of the Rosary Learning Center (OLRLC) prides itself in having a teaching staff of sisters who have teaching degrees. All staff have been cleared to work with children by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services. They have passed background checks that included a fingerprint search. All the care givers have taken 24 hours of refresher classes each year dealing with topics relevant to the safety and development of the children.

Sister Guadalupe de Vela, O.P. is the now the director of the center. She previously served as co-director of the Center and she cared for the 3 year old children. She has been performing this function at OLRLC since 1997. Sister Guadalupe has a degree of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Arellano.

Sister Perlita Bagundal, O.P. cares for 18 Month to 2 Year old children. She moved to OLRLC in 2019 from St. Anthony Catholic School in Robstown. Texas. She has a degree of Bachelor of Arts (AD Theology) in 2012 and has been ministering to children at various locations since then.

Sister Rosalina Dau, O.P. (a.ka. Dau Thi Thanh Thuy) has served as a kindergarten teacher, catechist and missioary in Viet Nam and Thailand since 2010. She obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013.

Sister Amor Vigare, O.P. cares for the 4 and 5 year old children. She has been performing this function at OLRLC since 2016. Sister Amore has a degree of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Santo Tomas.

Sister Maria Araceli Diaz is the Food Manager/Cook at the Learning Center. She graduated from the University of Santo Thomas, Philippines with a degree in Liberal Studies with Credentials in Teaching. Since 1974 she has held numerous teaching and religious education positions with the Dominican Order. She obtained Food Handler training and Food Manager Certification in Texas for her current duties at the Learning Center.
